Additions and ADUs are as much a permitting exercise as a construction one. KDI coordinates permitting and inspection processes with local building departments across Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego counties.
The work is planned so the existing home stays livable where possible, with containment and protection through the phases that affect occupied space.
Services may be performed by KDI personnel where permitted by KDI’s license classification or coordinated through appropriately licensed specialty contractors. Certified technicians may be used where applicable law permits certification in place of a contractor’s license. Service availability depends on project scope, location, permitting requirements and applicable licensing laws.
